My view of the site seems incorrect
We understand there are so many different devices to view the website on and we aim to make it as compatible, accessible and responsive as possible for all. If you find that you can't see it in it's entirety, please adjust the view, zoom or display settings on your computer. For example, Mac users can click on 'View' and 'Actual Size' if they find the right sidebar has dropped out of view.
What level of membership should I choose?
Our membership levels are designed to suit you at all stages of your journey into business. If you are still unsure, please email us and we'll only be too happy to help you.
Why won’t the website let me register?
If you have already registered in the past, then you will not need to register again, so the website will prevent this. If this is the case, you should be able to ‘Log in’ to access your account. Unfortunately we cannot accept more than one registration per email address. If someone else who shares your email address has already registered on our website then you will need to use an alternative email address to register yourself.
Why am I unable to log in?
Firstly, you need to make sure that you have registered your details and created an account. You can do this by clicking the ‘Log in’ link near the top of the screen and following the instructions to register. Once you have registered, signing in is easy. Simply enter your username (without any spaces), and your password on the Log In page. Please also check you are entering your password exactly as you created it - e.g check where you used capital and lowercase letters.
What do I do if I’ve forgotten my password?
Don’t worry. On the log in screen you will see our ‘Password Recovery’ feature. If you select this, you’ll be asked to enter your username or email address.You will receive a link to create a new password via email
What do I do if I’ve changed my e-mail address?
Please send us an email to notify us and we will change it for you within 24 hours. We are currently working on functionality so you that you will be able to do this yourself on the website.
How do I change my username?
Unfortunately you are unable to change this. Only we can do this for you . Please send us an email to notify us of the name you want to use and we will change it for you within 24 hours.
I’ve clicked 'forgotten your password?' and entered my email address but haven't received my password!
Please check your junk mail folder - as our email is automatically generated, some email service providers detect the message as spam and file it in your junk mail folder.
Creating a Profile
I can’t see anywhere to fill in my Profile
You can add or edit your Profile by first clicking on the space for your image or your image if you’ve uploaded one already.
Then click PROFILE on the menu bar under your Image. When you select Profile it will be highlighted. Next press the EDIT tab on the bottom bar. Fill in as much of the fields that you can. The more information you add the easier it will be for others to find you.
What if I want to add videos?
Go to PROFILE then EDIT and select the PROFILE WIDGETS tab. Please paste the video URL from YouTube or elsewhere in the appropriate box. You can also post links to videos as a status update from your profile but you cannot upload video files to the website.
How do I add another of my Businesses to my Profile
This is a Business Pro membership feature only. Within your Profile select BUSINESS then when it is highlighted select ADD INFO on the bottom bar. You will see Title and Contents and within contents you can add everything about your business and services. You can include any images, videos or website links in there too.
Using the Website
I’ve encountered an error on your website, what should I do? Please let us know as soon as possible if you encounter any problems. If you do it would be very helpful if you can give us as much detail as possible such as what you were attempting to do, the URL of the page where your error occurred and roughly what time the error occurred. Also, any error messages which appeared on screen. Please send this information to us at this email address: [email protected]
We resolve to sort out any problems should they arise as soon as possible within 24 hours. As we are a small team getting issues sorted may take slightly longer over weekends and public holidays. Please bear with us.
Creating my Profile
How do I change the details of my account?
To update your personal information, log in and click on your profile and then edit.
Do I need to enter my address and or telephone numbers on my profile?
Your address, email address and telephone numbers will never be visible to the general public or other members. If you don't enter your address, you will not be found if another member or recruitment agency searches for your skills/experience, so it would be a good idea to include it in full.
Do you share our details with third parties?
What size does my profile picture have to be?
It is recommended to have a square sized picture that can easily be cropped.
How do I change my profile picture?
Go to your profile and choose the option below to change profile photo. You can upload a new one or take one through your webcam.
Viewing my Profile while editing
Depending on which device you use to view the website you may find it difficult to view or edit your entire profile from time to time. If this occurs try selecting VIEW on your computer and ZOOM out. Alternatively on some iPads, simply turning your device to sit horizontally should sort this problem out.
I have no formal qualifications but years of experience - can I still select a Professional Skill?
By all means Yes - anyone can still be regarded as a 'Professional' with no qualifications (provided they have the experience of course).
I would like to get in touch with people who have similar interests, can I do this on your site?
Yes you can - you can use the Skillfinder to select people with similar hobbies/interests by selecting just from this box and the County/State you live in.
How do I start selling on the website?
Simply join as an Individual Plus, or any of the Business memberships. All these members have a shop from which they can sell their unwanted goods and /or their business goods. Upload images (.jpg/.jpeg format currently supported) of your items, price and a brief description which will be viewable from the Marketplace. There is a 'Buying & Selling' page under the Marketplace button on the navigation bar - this should hopefully answer all your questions.
Getting started is easy. Setting up shop is easy and takes only a few minutes. You can customize your shop with a logo profile, shop policies (in your bio) and more.
My business offers services, not products, how do I promote them?
At the moment you can add the Services you provide to your Business. As a Business Plus or Business Pro member, your Business will be visible to all other members on sign in giving you extra promotion. All our subscribed members i.e. those whose subscription is live will continue to receive promotion as part of their benefits across our vast social media networks. E.G. A Business member paid up for the year will get promotion to upto 4 million potential customers per year. Business Plus and Pro to 8 million. You can also upload a 'Special Offer’

Active buyers. Opusmatrix.com shoppers are looking for handmade (or used) goods, and all those goods which are relevant to women but not necessarily easy to get in the shops.
How do I set up my shop?
Simply join as an individual Plus, a Business or Business Plus/Pro member. Business Plus members can have a shop for their unwanted goods and a shop for their business goods. Business Pro members can have several business so several shops too.
How do I become a seller?
Place images of your items and a brief description which will be viewable from the Marketplace. To do this go your Profile Page (you must be signed in), select PRODUCT then ADD PRODUCT. Complete the form and upload an image (only .jpg/.jpeg currently supported).
Does my username have to match my shop vendor name?
Your username and your vendor name to do not have to be the same. Your username should be the name you wish to be known by when participating on our forums. If you wish to have your business name throughout, simply use your business name as your username.
I have changed the price of my product but it is not showing.
Again, you may need to refresh your browser (right-click on some text on the page and choose Refresh/Reload).
Can I have more than one account and/or shop?
You can have as many accounts as you want but they must all have different usernames and different email and passwords.
Can people outside the UK have shops?
opusmatrix.com is a global marketplace. We welcome sellers and buyers across the globe. Anyone is welcome to open a shop and sell their goods and services.
How do I Close my Shop?
Simply remove items from your shop.
How do I report a problem with an item I’ve purchased?
First, contact the seller directly to work toward a solution. On opusmatrixcom, each seller runs their own shop. Your seller will likely be able to resolve this issue with you. You are also free to give your seller a review so it is in their interest to ensure you are happy with the service you receive.
If you continue to have problems with a seller please send any feedback about the seller's product and service. If the seller does not resolve your case in a timely manner, opusmatrix.com. may suspend their shop.
How to I leave feedback?
You can leave endorsements about products or services received from our members by selecting ENDORSEMENTS when you are on their page.
How do I edit/delete a post?
You can only edit group posts if you are a group administrator or you posted the topic. Click the topic and click edit.
How do I add a Blog?
Go to your profile and click on the blog tab then add blog. All blogs are moderated before they appear on the website. Please also ensure that your images are appropriate and that you have permission to post them.
We encourage all our members to skillshare and barter for services. You can find other members easily through our skillfinder feature.
What happens if a member does not complete the task as expected?
If one member involved in a skillshare does not complete the task or if the recipient is dissatisfied with the service then we would issue a refund and advise each member to leave feedback for one another.
What happens if a member is seen to be abusing this service?
Opus Matrix Ltd reserves the right to cancel their membership to OM if a member is untrustworthy in any way.
